Wraysbury author guides us all to better well-being

Mary Parrish with her new book (M Parrish Facebook)

Mary Parrish who grew up in Wraysbury, but currently resides in Switzerland, has published her first book on Well-being. She believes that to experience true overall well-being we need to focus on all aspects of ourselves, mind, body and spirit, her new book helps to guide us down that path.

To experience overall well-being, you can’t just focus on one area, you need to consider mind, body and spirit.
Do you:
– frequently feel stressed or overwhelmed?
– have trouble thinking straight or making decisions?
– suffer with anxiety?
– have trouble sleeping?
– experience health concerns?
– feel tired and fatigued?
– know you need to make a change but don’t know where to start?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, come with me and let me help you on your journey …..

HER WELL-BEING STORY

For those of you who have read my book you will know that my well-being journey started in my late teens. I suffered with anxiety and panic attacks and I spent many years investigating solutions and answers which would help me to live the life I wanted to lead. Mental well-being continues to be a daily focus for me, meditation, practising daily gratitude and speaking positive affirmations are all strategies which help me. Focusing on my physical well-being has become more important the older I get, a balanced diet, good gut health and daily exercise not only helps to keep me physically well but mentally too. My spiritual well-being has always been at the heart of my journey and for me is the root of who we are and where everything starts. I trained in alternative therapies and healing in my spare time during my twenties and I’m grateful that now I have the time to be able to practise and help other people on their wellness journey. My goal with writing Simply Well-Being was to bring all three aspects of well-being together in one book and to show people how to improve each aspect so that they can experience true overall well-being on a daily basis. Well-being is not a destination ….. it is a journey.

We have all at various times walked that path, and we feel proud that Mary is using her experience to help us and others to better Well-Being.
